Celtic Salt Bundle 100g | Essentially Young Fine & Coarse

Celtic salt — or sel gris — is hand-harvested the traditional way on the salt marshes of Guérande on the Brittany coast of France, raked by hand and left unrefined so the crystals keep their natural moisture and soft grey tint. This bundle gives you both grinds: the coarse for your grinder, for finishing, roasting and brining, and the fine for everyday cooking and the table. Because it is a whole sea salt rather than a stripped, bleached table salt, it keeps the trace minerals the ocean put there and has a rounder, less harsh flavour than refined salt. The slightly damp, clumping texture is normal and a sign that it has not been dried out or treated with anti-caking agents. Each pouch holds 100g in a resealable stand-up bag, so it stores well and is easy to keep on the counter or take with you. Use it anywhere you would use ordinary salt and you will taste the difference in the first dish.
